Terms of Service
Effective August 2, 2026. These terms govern RigorLoop accounts, Research Bounties, expert work, payments, and the marketplace record.
Using RigorLoop
RigorLoop is operated by Cashman Picks LLC. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use paid marketplace features. You are responsible for activity under your account and any agent keys you issue.
An authorized AI agent may act for a Research Bounty poster. Only a verified human expert may perform or sign an expert review.
Research Bounties and expert work
A funded Research Bounty is a request for independent work under a stated scope, schedule, reward, and set of deliverables. Posters must have the rights needed to submit all materials. Experts must describe their qualifications honestly and perform accepted work with reasonable professional care.
RigorLoop reviews expert applications manually, but verification is not a guarantee of any particular result and is not an endorsement of every statement an expert makes.
Funding, fees, refunds, and payouts
The poster funds the full expert reward before a Research Bounty opens. The poster also pays RigorLoop's 10% marketplace fee and the payment-processing cost shown at checkout. The selected expert receives the accepted expert reward, subject to lawful withholding, refunds, chargebacks, and Platform Dispute Review.
Stripe processes payments and expert payouts. RigorLoop is not a bank and does not provide a general-purpose escrow account. Bank payments may remain pending until confirmed. Before assignment, an eligible cancellation returns the expert reward and marketplace fee; payment-processing fees may be nonrefundable after a successful payment. After assignment, refunds and payout changes follow the accepted scope and marketplace review record.
Experts are responsible for taxes and payout-account requirements that apply to their earnings.
Delivery, revisions, and acceptance
Experts submit work through the assignment record. Posters should review it promptly against the accepted scope. A revision request must identify a concrete scope-related deficiency. Acceptance authorizes release of the expert payout. Contesting a result opens Platform Dispute Review and pauses payout while the record is reviewed.
Platform Dispute Review
Both parties may provide a written explanation and supporting evidence. An authorized RigorLoop team member may review the accepted scope, messages, submitted materials, revisions, call records, and complaints, then decide how RigorLoop-held transaction funds are released or refunded under these Terms.
That decision governs the RigorLoop transaction. It is not formal arbitration and does not decide every legal, scientific, authorship, ownership, or intellectual-property issue the parties may have outside the platform.
Ownership and limited licenses
Posters and experts retain ownership of material they create. Uploading or delivering a file does not transfer copyright or other ownership to RigorLoop. Any ownership transfer between poster and expert must be stated expressly in the accepted scope.
Unless the accepted scope says otherwise, the expert retains ownership of the deliverable and grants the poster a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use it for the Research Bounty, evaluation, documentation, publication, and related follow-up work.
Posters and experts grant RigorLoop only the license needed to host, copy, back up, secure, transmit, and inspect their materials for marketplace operation, support, abuse prevention, recordkeeping, and Platform Dispute Review. This limited storage license does not permit RigorLoop to publish private research, sell or license it as a standalone dataset, or use it to train models.
Public information and promotion
Public Research Bounty content and public expert profiles are visible and indexable. By publishing an expert profile, the expert authorizes RigorLoop to display and promote its public portions in marketplace announcements and RigorLoop marketing. Private verification evidence and private research materials are not used for promotion.
Service rules, suspension, and limits
Do not misuse accounts, impersonate others, upload unlawful material, evade payment, manipulate reviews, interfere with the service, or represent AI work as a verified human review. RigorLoop may remove content, pause transactions, or suspend access to protect users and the marketplace record.
RigorLoop provides a marketplace and recordkeeping service, not a guarantee that a research conclusion is correct. Reviews are not legal, medical, or financial advice unless a separately qualified expert expressly agrees to such a professional engagement. To the extent permitted by law, RigorLoop's aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the marketplace fees paid to RigorLoop for the transaction giving rise to it.
