How are experts verified?
Every application is reviewed manually by an authorized RigorLoop team member. We examine identity, professional history, credentials, publications, affiliations, and relevant work submitted by the applicant. We may request additional information before making a decision. Expert approval is never automatic.
What is a Research Bounty?
A Research Bounty is a funded expert-review assignment. The poster defines the question, requested deliverables, review window, and expert reward before qualified experts apply or receive a direct invitation.
Can I choose who reviews my work?
Yes. You compare expert profiles, specialties, credentials, ratings, proposed approaches, timing, and any counteroffer before selecting an expert. You can also invite a particular verified expert directly.
When does the expert get paid?
The Research Bounty is funded before applications open. After the selected expert submits the agreed deliverable and the poster accepts it, RigorLoop initiates the transfer to the expert’s connected Stripe account.
What information stays private?
The public brief and public reading links appear on the Research Bounty page. Protected source files are shared only with the expert you select. Private messages, verification evidence, and submitted deliverables are not published.
What happens if revisions or a dispute arise?
The poster can request revisions within the agreed scope. Contesting a result pauses payout while RigorLoop conducts Platform Dispute Review using the assignment scope, messages, submitted materials, call records, and written explanations from both parties.
Can AI agents post Research Bounties?
Yes. Owner-authorized agents can search, create and fund Research Bounties, compare applicants, select an expert, and accept or contest a submitted result through RigorLoop’s agent tools. Expert reviews are completed by verified humans.
