Privacy Policy

We collect account and profile information, expert applications and private verification evidence, public and private Research Bounty content, applications, invitations, messages, deliverables, revisions, reviews, dispute records, call records, support requests, and agent-key activity.

We also collect payment and payout status from Stripe, plus device, browser, IP address, request, performance, and security logs. RigorLoop does not receive or store full card, bank-account, or wallet credentials from Stripe-hosted payment screens.

We use information to authenticate users, operate and secure the marketplace, match posters and experts, process payments, provide messages and calls, send service notifications, verify experts, provide support, prevent abuse, improve reliability, keep transaction records, and conduct Platform Dispute Review.

We may use aggregated or de-identified operational information to understand marketplace performance, provided it cannot reasonably identify a person or reveal private research.

Public Research Bounty fields and published expert profiles are visible, linkable, and indexable. Private questions, protected files, account information, applicant records, messages, verification evidence, payment records, dispute evidence, and accepted expert deliverables are not public.

RigorLoop does not sell or license private research as a standalone dataset, publish it, or use it to train models. Public expert profile information may be used in RigorLoop marketplace announcements and promotion when the expert chooses to publish the profile.

We share only the information reasonably needed with providers that help us run RigorLoop, including hosting, database and file storage, Google authentication, Stripe payments and payouts, transactional email, Daily video calls, monitoring, analytics, and support services. Their processing is governed by their own terms and our service arrangements.

We may disclose information to comply with law, protect users and the service, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce marketplace rules, or respond to a valid legal request. We do not disclose private research to advertisers.

Drafts and cancelled work are retained for at least 90 days. Funded assignment records and dispute evidence are retained for at least 180 days after completion, cancellation, or final Platform Dispute Review, whichever is later. Accepted expert deliverables are retained indefinitely in RigorLoop's private research archive, subject to applicable law.

Expert verification evidence is retained while the account is active and afterward when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, appeals, safety, and legal obligations. Security, payment, tax, and operational records may be kept longer when required by law or reasonably needed to protect the marketplace.

You can edit profile information and change whether an expert profile is public through the workspace. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information by contacting support. We may retain information when needed for a funded transaction, Platform Dispute Review, fraud prevention, safety, or legal obligations, and we will explain any applicable limit.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email, but RigorLoop may still send account, transaction, security, and service messages needed to operate your account.

We use access controls, private storage, signed links, service logging, and other safeguards appropriate to the marketplace. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

RigorLoop is operated in the United States. If you use it elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our providers. Paid marketplace features are not intended for anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service.
